Upon booking always provide alternative phone numbers (eg mobile; neighbour or relative)

Empty all flammable liquids from motorbikes, lawn mowers etc

All furniture items emptied; chest of drawers, wardrobes, etc

Water removed from hoses attached to dishwashers and washing machines

Filing cabinets locked

Trampolines and swing sets dismantled and castors/legs off bed bases

Remove handles and door knobs from drawers, cupboards and put inside each cabinet if required

If original packaging for items such as TVs, VCRs, Stereos etc. are not available, leave them loose and they will be wrapped in furniture felt

Flammables, gas or paint are not permitted on trucks

We recommend that moving date be at least 24 hours prior to settlement date

Remove all protruding items from motorbikes, as well as fragile or delicate fittings, do not lock steering on motorbikes

When packing heavy items use either small cartons or disperse the weight evenly throughout all the cartons

Prepare your plants - water well 3 days prior to pick up and let them dry out

Moving your fish tank - when moving your fish tank we require it to be empty.  This is so no water will leak out and damage any of your other furniture and if you have anything inside the tank it may crack. The best thing to do with your fish tank rocks is put them in plastic containers or heavy duty plastic bags tied up and boxed so they don’t spill anywhere during the move.
